Sidney Hinton, 45, founded PowerSecure in 2000 and remains President and CEO.  PowerSecure’s focus is Distributed Generation, Energy Efficiency, and Utility Infrastructure.  PowerSecure is traded on NASDAQ (POWR) and serves utilities and businesses around the country.

In seeking to serve the Lord from the platform He has placed Sidney on (business), Sidney joined with David Cox to found The Other Six Days ministry in early 2007.  The goal of The Other Six Days is to equip people to live their faith in a way that brings honor and glory to our Lord when they are outside of their church.

Sidney received a BBA (Accounting) from Georgia State University (1986) and an MBA from Emory University (1994).
