Psalm 2
Against Almighty God, the nations do plot,
Acting, complaining like a spoiled tot.
Thinking His commands are nothing but chains,
When He desires only to free them from pains.
Is it anger or love when He sends them a gift?
His precious Son, to give them a lift.
Oh, listen all peoples and please be wise,
God wishes to bless us and enrich our lives!
Embrace His Son fully and His loving ways,
Take refuge in Him and be blessed all your days.

Psalm 3
Everywhere. At every turn. All I hear, all I see. 
These enemies, my problems.
Sneering, glaring, and mocking at me.
But in the midst of this horrific scene,
Arises One greater, One stronger,
My Lord, He’s the King!
I cry out to Him and He hears my call,
Peace settles my heart, there’s no fear of a fall.
Silence their voices, destroy all their schemes,
It’s You I trust daily with all of my dreams.

Psalm 3
Lord, there are so many that want me to fall,
They say it’s useless if God is the one I call.
But I know Lord, You are my shield,
Because to You my soul I yield.
To You I cried with my own voice,
Knowing, for me there is no choice.
I slept in peace in Your loving arms,
Not afraid of those that wish me harm.
Arise O Lord, O my God save me,
And now You’ve come to strike the enemy.
The strength of the enemy is broken this day,
For Salvation is the Lord’s now and always!
